If you find your day slipping away while
your "To Do" list remains full, try this simple exercise
to identify where your time is going. Take a sheet of paper
and list the day in 15-minute increments. Don't put pressure
on what you should be doing - simply make note of what you are
working on. Perhaps you find that you are swamped with telephone
calls, or are needed in your manager's office. Try the exercise
for a week and see what is taking up your time.
